Wreck diving in Bermuda

Bermuda is one of the world's great wreck diving destinations. With over 300 wrecks surrounding the island - and salvage prohibited by Bermudian law - they remain remarkably intact, teeming with marine life, and completely accessible. Most sites are just 30 to 45 minutes from the dock.

What surprises most visitors is the depth. Unlike many wreck destinations, the majority of our diving is shallow - average depths of 45 to 65 feet - which means long bottom times and plenty of time to explore. Our deepest wreck sits at 105 feet, and deeper dives are planned in advance for those who want them. For most divers, we stay beautifully shallow.

No salvage. The sea has had decades to make them extraordinary.

Reef diving in Bermuda

We're not solely a wreck operation. Bermuda sits on 400 square kilometres of coral reef - the most northerly coral reef system in the Atlantic - made possible by the warm waters of the Gulf Stream. Our reef isn't a simple finger-and-groove formation; it's a solid, carpet-like system of caverns, grottos, overhangs, tunnels, gullies, and enormous arches, broken up by pockets of pink and white sand. Large sea fans and candelabra corals are a feature, and the reef is home to an abundance of invertebrates, crustaceans, pelagic and reef fish.

From March through May, pods of Humpback whales pass through Bermudian waters, and we operate dedicated full and half-day whale watch charters during those months.

Not all encounters are planned

March - May

Humpback Whales

Pods pass through Bermuda's waters on their annual migration. We run dedicated full and half-day charters to find them.

Year-round

Resident Dolphins

Known to appear without warning and escort the boat home, bow-riding all the way to the marina.

Reef Life

Invertebrates, crustaceans, sea fans, candelabra corals, and more reef and pelagic fish than you can count.
